Swedish debuting artist Paulina Creola describes herself as confidently lost. The word Creola means “mixed” and is, except the ethnic group Paulina’s dad derives from, also the perfect metaphor for her as a person. After being part of the urban dance scene in Stockholm for many years she started writing trap-inspired R&B about her everyday life. During the first part of 2020, Paulina Creola has already released three singles; ‘Soon Baby Soon’ and ‘We’ll Live on Forever’ and the latest ‘Te Quiero’. During a trip to Ghana in early 2020, she gathered inspiration and experiences to write new music. The melody in ‘Te Quiero’ has a playful feel to it with a touch of cockieness, which creates an ideal combination of self-confidence and humility.
