Kill FM have had a somewhat non-traditional evolution. It was only after months of remixes and development of enough songs for an EP that Kim Lindén & Jimmy Andersson made sure to meet in person for the first time. From having started communicating with each other through music forums online, they began sharing ideas over Skype and email. This initial process developed their concept, while they both lived in two remote Swedish cities.
When Kill FM felt that they had created the sound that would define their name, they launched themselves on the web in May 2012. After releasing a preview of their original track Bully, the duo got a huge response from blogs and labels worldwide. Shortly after they were commissioned to do remixes for Ultra, Universal and Island Records, among others.
In 2013 they released their debut EP, Revolt EP, which gained support from names like Dada Life, Martin Garrix, TV Noise, Sidney Samson, and resulted in opportunities for them to act as live support to Dada Life, Porter Robinson, Zeds Dead, Mat Zo, and Bassjackers.
They have since gone on to release the stunning Lies (ft. Leah Hayes) via Spinnin/Oxygen, as well as the Don't Go Dark EP 2014, which has garnered intense early support from big-hitters David Guetta, 3LAU, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Gareth Emery to name a few! With such good company on their side already, and with official remixes for Steve Aoki, Autoerotique, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and 3LAU
With gigs In Asia and Europe 2015 marks the year with a new beginning and looks certain to see Kill FM take their rightful place amongst the electronic dance music elite.
