LASH are the musical project of sisters Anfa and Sabina Lashari who explores the conditions of life through uncompromising rap. Their music bears witness of the violence, drugs and criminality surrounding LASH in their adolescent years – but also of the strengths and importance of their sisterhood.
LASH themselves present their music in one simple but incredible powerful tagline: Hiphop has no gender. Their unvarnished stories about being a HBTQ person in the world of rap, voices an important need for a richer diversity in Swedish hiphop.
The convincing release of the four singles the duo has put out so far has already granted them access to the parlor of Swedish hiphop. Their latest single Henny came out on January 26th, 2018.
